Bus Ministry

Every Sunday morning, children, adults, and families are brought to church through the bus ministry. Many of these children are underprivileged, and the love of Christ that they receive through the bus ministry is the highlight of their week. This ministry is staffed by dozens of volunteer Christians who love people.
If you or someone you know would like to ride one of our buses to church, call our church office at 317.272.4632.

Missions

It is the belief of Faith Baptist Church that Biblical missions focuses on the Word of God, the spreading of the Gospel, and the church. It is also our belief that every tribe, nation, and tongue should have a gospel witness as well as a copy of the Bible in their heart language. Missionaries will be supported, or considered for support, only if their ministry focus is translating the Scripture or church planting. The translation will be to a language that currently does not possess the Scripture. Strategic personal involvement in church planting will be a continual practice for the span of the ministry.

We believe it is our responsibility to preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15) until all nations (Matthew 28:19) have heard. The members of Faith Baptist have made the financial support of global evangelization a high priority, and the church’s annual missions budget exceeds $132,000. Over the last decade we have sent over $1,250,000 to missionaries.  In recent years we have focused our missions program to church planting efforts and to spreading the Gospel in 51 specific restricted or hostile nations that represent 4.2 billion people.

WorldView Ministries

WorldView Ministries is a ministry that focuses on the unreached people groups of the world. Approximately 95% of the unreached people of the world live in the 10/40 Window, an area which encompasses the continents of Africa, Europe and Asia from the 10th to the 40th parallels. Over 1/2 of the world's population lives there and most of them have never heard the name of Jesus Christ.
Areas of focus include India; Mali, West Africa and the Muslim world of the Middle East and North Africa. God has opened wonderful doors of opportunity to impact the unreached through Church Planting, National Training and Bible Translation and Distribution.

CORE VALUES

Church Planting
Church-planting among unreached people groups is the highest priority for completing the Great Commission and the God-ordained way to spread the gospel.
National Training
Producing disciples among unreached people groups is required if we are to make significant progress in obeying the Great Commission.
Bible Translation
Translating the Scriptures into the heart language of a people is required for effectively propagating the Gospel and facilitating Church-planting movements.
Uttermost Focused
A focus on the unreached people groups and a purposeful strategy to reach them is required if we are to be in complete obedience to the Great Commission.
Worship
The eternal plan and purpose of God is to receive glory from every kindred, tongue, tribe and nation. Our purpose in life is to participate in His plan.

PARTNERSHIP

Prayer
As we look at the multitudes still waiting for the gospel, our first response should be to obey the Lord's first command. Prayer is the indispensable element of obeying the Great Commission. Prayer is not primarily for our benefit, but for God's benefit. It is not for us to get what we want from God, but for God to get what He wants from us. It is from those who pray that the Lord finds his laborers.
Passion
With over 6,800 people groups still unreached, we must go beyond passive involvement in missions, we must actively engage those parts of the world that have no churches, preachers or Bibles. This is the grand purpose and plan of God and it must become our passion.
Funding
Financial partnership with WorldView Ministries will help you be strategic in completing the task of the Great Commission. Providing the Scriptures for the unreached world will accelerate the progress of reaching every kindred, tribe, tongue and nation.

World View Ministries' goal is to be a servant ministry helping to bring the local church back into the focused and strategic effort of reaching the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving full obedience to the Great Commission.
